The Silsbee Independent School District is comprised of approximately 264 square miles. The South and West boundaries being Village Creek, the North being Hardin-Tyler County line, and the East being the Neches River. Currently there are 25 regular bus routes and 6 special need routes.

The Transportation Department transports approximately 1700 students per day, and travels approximately 250,000 miles per day. The district currently employs approximately 40 State Certified School Bus Drivers with excellent driving records.
