  •  Bus      Bus Announcement

Due to the increase in student enrollment in Silsbee ISD, the Transportation Department has put the following guidelines into procedure beginning September 6th, 2016.

    1. Unassigned bus students may not ride home on the bus with other students. This causes overcrowding. We will deliver ONLY to the address, or closest designated stop, given to us by the parent at the beginning of the school year.
    2. Students will be dropped off at their home, a daycare, or designated stop every day. This will be determined by the address designated by the parent at the beginning of the school year. Students may not change back and forth between bus routes.
    3. In order to ensure the students are placed on the correct bus any address changes (pick up/drop off) must be scheduled BEFORE 2:00pm through the Campus/Transportation Office prior to arranging for a change. NO ONE DAY CHANGES WILL BE MADE AND NO SAME DAY CHANGES WILL BE MADE AFTER 2:00pm.
    4. Not all requested changes will be approved. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE DROPPED OFF AT A BUSINESS, other than a daycare facility.

If you have any questions, please contact the

                                      Transportation Department.  409-385-5610
