Silsbee ISD Receives a Technology Lending Grant
from the Texas Education Agency
Silsbee Independent School District has been awarded a Technology Lending Grant from the Texas Education Association. This grant will serve freshmen and sophomores in English I and II using The Writing Coach - a web-based tool that is used to improve writing skills. The grant is not large enough to encompass the entire class. Students were selected to take part in the grant. By taking part in the grant, the students were loaned an iPad and internet service. The freshmen and sophomore English classes will have iPad sets in their classrooms.
The Silsbee Independent School District does not have a social media presence other than this published website. Any postings on another social media site under the Silsbee ISD title is not authorized or sanctioned by the school district.
